This policy explains how the Guide Drive Chrome extension uses data when you connect it to Google Drive.
Guide Drive uses the Google account you choose, Google Drive folders and files that are needed for uploads, and local extension settings such as the default folder name, selected language, and upload preferences.
Google Drive data is used to authenticate your account, find or create folders, upload files, read file metadata, set sharing permissions when needed, and copy links for files you select or create through the extension.
The extension stores configuration locally in Chrome storage. Uploaded files are stored in your Google Drive account or in shared Drive folders that your Google account can access.
Guide Drive does not sell Google user data. Google Drive data is not transferred to third-party services except as necessary to provide the extension workflow selected by the user.
Guide Drive's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can remove local extension settings by uninstalling the extension or clearing the extension storage in Chrome. Files uploaded to Google Drive can be deleted directly from your Google Drive account.
