Guide Drive is a Chrome extension that helps users save files to Google Drive and copy shareable URLs for Backlog previews.
What Guide Drive Does
- Upload local files or files from a URL to a selected Google Drive folder.
- Capture the current browser tab and save the screenshot to Google Drive.
- Copy Google Drive links as plain URLs or Backlog #image() preview snippets.
- Reuse project and ticket folders so teams can keep shared files organized.
Google Drive Access
Guide Drive requests Google Drive access so it can create folders, upload files, read folder metadata, and generate shareable links for files you choose to save. The extension is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.
Guide Drive uses Chrome Identity to let you sign in with the Google account you choose.
The extension creates or finds folders in Google Drive so uploaded files go to the right place.
Files are uploaded to Google Drive, then the extension reads the resulting Drive link for copying.
Google Drive file data is used only inside the extension workflow and is not sold or transferred.
